Alessandro Filisetti is a Research Fellow at the European Centre for Living technology.
Graduated in 2007 in "Economy and Management of Networks and Innovations" at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with first class honors (cum laude) now  he's attending a PhD in "Multiscale Modelling, Computational Simulation and Characterization in Material and Life Sciences" at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
He was a visiting student in 2004 at the Institute of Mathematical and Behavioural Sciences, University of California at Irvine, Irvine (CA).
In 2009 he was awarded for the best student poster prize receiving an honorable mention at ECCS09 (European Conference on Complex Systems).
His main research area is the complex system biology and in particular now he's working on synchronization phenomena in protocells population models and models on the emergence of autocatalytic sets of molecules.
